Do I need to do any modifications to my John Deere 54 Plow to install the Marric Plow Conversion System?
Yes, you will need use a hammer to lightly tap the extension spring cotter pin flush to the plow arm. This will allow the Marric Plow Conversion System to slide over the plow arm. If the cotter pin is required at a later time, it can be tapped back into position through an access hole on the bottom side of the plow arm.
Yes, to install the Marric Moldboard Bucket Conversion Kit you will need to drill three Ø5/16 holes per side of the moldboard to attach the left and right side bucket wings.
Is the Marric Plow Conversion System compatible with my John Deere Quick Hitch 54 Plow system?
The Marric Plow Conversion System is currently compatible with the older style John Deere 54 Plows. However, we are actively working on a design that will mount to the latest John Deere Quick Hitch. There are several versions of the John Deere Quick Hitch. Email us at customerservice@marricproducts.com to let us know what model tractor you would like to install the Marric Conversion System on.
